Environmental challenges are escalating at an unprecedented pace these days. There is a vital need for citizens to take decisive action. However, today's youth are often unaware of the threat. Educating themselves is important, as the survival of this world will be their responsibility in a few years.
GDFS International Poster Competition 2019
In every competition, I have a specific goal in mind. My primary goal is to advance professionally and technically while also learning new skills; winning the competition is a secondary goal.
Title: Freedom
Sexuality has been a significant subject in culture over the last few decades. From ancient societies that buried female infants alive to Donald Trump, who won the 2016 Presidential election, the topic has evolved significantly.
People should not intend to commit mass murder in the middle of the night. Cultural, racial, sexual, and even animal and environmental abuse do not emerge overnight. Just as a spoonful of flour is required to make a cake, the same is true for hatred and abuse; they accumulate over time.
2019 GCSP Prize for Innovation in Global Security
In 2019, I was in my second year of study. I was overjoyed to be able to enter the GCSP Prize for Innovation in Global Security on my own. I was elected to attend the 9th World Urban Forum in 2018, held in Kuala Lumpur. There, I met numerous local and international individuals at Medan Pasar.
In 2016, I was studying in Gambang, Pahang. At that time, the entire university was not yet open to the public. There were just two structures: the administrative building, which held the classes, and the hostel, which provided our sleeping quarters. This was my first experience living in a hostel. The hostel demonstrated how much of a difference we could make by transforming intangible concepts into a real facility with various amenities.
The Self Care Hostel is equipped with all the services needed to help refugees secure and manage their lives, aligning with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
